Luke Reese is a senior operating executive with 18 years of experience successfully managing high-end consumer goods businesses. In every position he has held, Mr. Reese has delivered dramatic profitability improvements accompanied by strong market share gains. He achieves this by maintaining low fixed costs, continually improving profit margins and insisting on high-energy sales efforts.

Before founding Winona Capital Management, Mr. Reese was a senior manager at Amer Sports (Wilson, Atomic, and Suunto). His positions included Group Head, Managing Director of Amer Sports Europe (which experienced a $17 million dollar profit turnaround on $110 million of sales during his tenure) and General Manager of the Wilson Sporting Goods Global Golf business (which experienced a $20 million profit turnaround on $200 million in sales during his tenure). While at Amer Sports, Mr. Reese ran businesses competing in the following industries: tennis, golf, ski, action sports, outdoor, lifestyle, apparel, footwear, and watches and measuring devices. Earlier in his career, Mr. Reese practiced corporate and finance law as an attorney with Latham & Watkins.

Mr. Reese is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and DePauw University, a US Army veteran, a published author, and a fluent speaker of German and French.

Mr. Reese serves on the boards of CIRCA, Peter Millar, Dragon Alliance, Johnny's Fine Foods, and Top Driver.
