Mr. Nugent is deeply involved in developing companies and creating shareholder value. His focus is to combine real technological advantages with unmet consumer and patient needs - he thoroughly understands both.

He is currently Chairman of Ascension Orthopedics and previously Executive Chairman/CEO of Ventus Medical, an early stage medical device company created to transform the category of Sleep Medicine, Chairman of Tria Beauty, a rapidly growing OTC aesthetic device company based on professional laser technology. Jeff also serves on several Boards in innovative companies competing in health related categories.

Jeff has a broad background and record of value creation beginning with his 20 year career at Johnson & Johnson, the acquisition of Neutrogena and, as Worldwide President and CEO, its creation as a leading global master brand. Following Neutrogena, he was President and CEO of Revlon where he led the early stage turnaround of the highly leveraged stable of consumer businesses. His experience spans strategic, private/growth equity and venture capital based environments.

Jeff has a BS in Mathematics from St Joseph’s College, and MBA in Marketing and Finance from Loyola University of Chicago and served in the US Army as an Operations Research/Intelligence officer.
