Jason Starr brings over 12 years of operational, entrepreneurial, and private equity experience to Winona Capital Management. Prior to joining Winona, Jason held positions at Crossroads Capital Partners and Opus Capital Ventures, where he was responsible for sourcing and evaluating investments. Previously, Jason spent five years in various roles at early-stage ventures in Denver, Colorado. As the founder of Vigaro Technologies, Jason led both product development and raising of capital. At BoldTech Systems, he played a key role in expanding the business both nationally and internationally, which landed the company on the Deloitte "Fast 50" and Inc. Magazine "Inc. 500" and resulted in an acquisition by Perficient (NASDAQ: PRFT). Earlier in his career, Jason spent five years at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), where he led high-profile strategy and operational improvement projects for Fortune 500 companies.

Jason graduated summa cum laude from the University of Denver with a BSBA in Operations and an MAS in Technology Management. He earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, where he focused on finance, accounting, and entrepreneurship.
